Oops

Well, today, I feel a bit more grounded and less overwhelmed than my overtime day yesterday.  Which is good because I have pink eye… again.  Maybe the “where is Mommy’s nose… eyes… ears… lips?” game isn’t so great unless you have sanitized your children first.  Except I feel like I am sanitizing them (and myself!) all day long already!

Heartbreak has entered the Olson home:  I broke our camera yesterday.  I don’t really know what to do with myself without a camera.  Rissa was carrying around empty 2 liters of 7up in each hand and I was lunging to grab the camera and then toward her to capture the image.  I already had an inappropriate caption worked out for what I was going to call the picture and was smiling at how hilarious I am, and then I dropped the camera mid-lunge.  It splatted lens case first onto the floor and wouldn’t close.  It displayed a forlorn little error message on the screen, E18, and then died rather dramatically before my eyes.  And I never got a picture of Rissa and her jugs so it wasn’t even worth it.

As a result, I will be going back through the bunches of pictures and movies from January that I have been meaning to post and we’ll see if Matt’s fixing abilities hold and our camera functions ever again.  He managed to get the lens retracted back into the camera.  Abysmal.
