Home and safe

Hi there! You’ll get details and updates of a more descriptive and typical Jaime variety later on when I’m not this exhausted, but for now:

1. The Lord cared for us on EVERY detail of this trip. Things turned out great in the end!

2. We’re home, all 4 of us (plus Hoochie, back from his visit with his second family!)

3. We’re all safe. The babies are thrilled to be in their own crib and both of them handled all of the stresses this weekend amazingly. We left early on Friday and got back at 5pm tonight (Tuesday), so they were off their routine a long time. They were wonderful.

4. Rissa is doing well. She doesn’t like the taste of Tylenol. However, because she sweetly chokes it down every 4-6 hours, she is able to be her normal cheerful, talkative, smiling, active self. You’d never know by looking at her that she isn’t allowed to operate heavy machinery for 2 weeks or lift anything heavier than 50 lbs. It’s as if she had a mini c-section because the activity limitations are very similar.

More info and many pictures to come. Thanks for your prayers!
