Zach has been pooping. Let me say it again: “Zach has been pooping!!!!!!!” It is so great. He still urps, but not nearly as much. He looks bigger and he poops every single day! It’s beautiful. We whittled down his Lactulose dosage to determine whether it pushed reset for his system and he can now poop on his own. He’s completely off of Lactulose now and he’s still providing blow-out diapers. I’ve continued their fiber-rich diet, so Rissa is a blow-out producing machine as well. We have a LOT of poop around here. Do you know what a lot of poop leads to? A lot of laundry. As if I wasn’t already doing 2-3 loads a day. Here is a picture of one month of digestion supplies around here:
These are large cans of formula from Sam’s, and they each last 5 days. So 6 of them lasts a month. At $32 each, that’s $192 a month on formula. Thusly, I am making my own baby food for their meals of solids because it is a lot cheaper. Thankfully, diapers (which cost $140 or so a month in the early days because we needed ~20 diapers a day) are now only $35 a month because this giant box of 216 diapers lasts about a month. This in-and-out phenomenon has poop in the middle, and for the poop, we are grateful!
