So, we’re sitting at home, watching Denver and the Mile High Orchestra on America’s Next Great Band so that we can know what number to call later to vote for them (it’s 866-U-LOVE-03 this week in case you want to vote after 9pm CST as well), and feeding the babies. Our phone keeps ringing and we’ve got our hands full of babies so we aren’t answering. And Matt says to me, “It’s a Friday night! Why do people keep calling us? Don’t they know we’re out partying?” He’s so hilarious.
Firstly, I’m impressed he knows what day it is, but I suppose he did go to work today and knows he doesn’t have to go back for 2 days. But I don’t always know what day it is! Secondly, seriously! We’re living wild, people! What makes you think we’re home? When you leave a message, you can assume we’re out and about, not screening calls. Oh wait, that’s a total lie. You’re right on… we have no life outside these babies. Yes yes, call away. But we aren’t answering! Thirdly, I fully recognize that since I’m posting this, you know that I know that you called and I’m accepting obligation to call or email you back. But first we need some din and some together time and some laundry folding… all the stuff we cram in between feedings. So we’ll call or email you within two weeks on time-critical items and within 6 weeks on non-time-critical items. 🙂 I’m making those numbers up… but we WILL get to it when we get to it!
